"Still Waters" closed out the Century as the Bee Gees last studio album. Featuring the big hit "Alone"; cuts "I Surrender", "Still Waters Run Deep" and "Smoke And Mirrors" could all have been big hits. "Irresistible Force" brings the famous trio in to a round-robin vocal that is truly unique. "My Lovers Prayer", "I Could Not Love You More" and "I Will" harken back to the power ballads the guys are so famous for. "Closer Than Close" and "Miracles Happen" seem out of step with the rest of the CD, but, hey, it's all good stuff.
BIG PLUS! This rare Japanese Import contains songs from the singles, "Rings Around The Moon" and "Love Never Dies". You are in for a real treat, if you can find this at any cost!

The harmonies by the Gibb brothers on this album make my heart swell. This is truly beautiful music. How spectacular they are as both writers and singers certainly shows on this album. This is the Holy Grail!! Find it and the music will give you life eternal. Rings Around The Moon is a rare treat. Robin has never been better. The rest of the album is just pure heaven. Even Maurice sounds great and should get 1 or 2 solos on the next album, "This Is Where I Came In" due out in March or April. "I Will" is as good as any boy group product out there today, showing the real talent behind the Gibbs, writing and arranging."Alone" is worth the price of the album all by itself. | | | |
